First and foremost, we are a Christian publishing company. We believe that there is a God who sent His Son, Jesus Christ, into the world, that He died for the sins of humanity and was raised from the dead, and is one day coming again. We believe the Bible is the written and inspired Word of God which reveals who God is, His plan throughout history and how we as Christians should live in today's ungodly world. Glorious Hope Publishing is not about making money or even being a 'publishing company' per se for us, but rather Glorious Hope Publishing is a ministry whose goal, desire and focus is getting books in the hands of Christians who sincerely desire to develop a closer personal walk with Jesus Christ. We release book projects that are geared towards specific age groups and that seek to interconnect the Bible and the Christian faith with our everyday world and struggles. The reality is that Christians living in the western world in the early 21st century are living in a culture that is blatantly ungodly.
In the Bible, the Apostle Paul writes a prayer to a group of Christians and it goes like this: "I keep praying that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation so that you may know Him better. I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which He has called you, the glorious inheritance in the saints, and His incomparably great power for us who believe" - Ephesians 1:17-19 (NIV).
Like Paul, we feel burdened as well to help open the eyes of those who have received Christ into their hearts and lives to know God personally and to develop a close and personal relationship with Him. Also, we want to help make the hope we have in Jesus a reality, for that hope should be the anchor through the tough waves life as a Christian in the 21st century will bring. Finally, we want to help other Christians be able to utilize the power given to us through the Spirit of God in our hearts and to be transformed so that our lives will increasingly exhibit Christ-like characteristics.

Today's Christian will face a tsunami of ungodliness and challenges to the Christianity they profess. Satan, the chief evil spirit and force at work in the world, has in a sense "turned up the heat in the kitchen" by working to increase the frequency and intensity of perversion, ungodliness, evil and deception in today's generation. Unfortunately, as our enemy has turned up the heat in the kitchen, Christians are spiritually falling asleep at the wheel. Rather than becoming as aggressive in fighting the prevailing influence and spiritual battles at hand, studies have consistently shown the that majority of professing Christians rarely read the Bible, pray less and know little of the basic tenants of the Christian faith.
Most professing Christians live lifestyles that are contrary to the values and principles of the God and Bible they claim to believe in and follow. Studies have also shown that most professing Christians' beliefs on issues such as abortion, homosexuality, how to get to heaven, absolute truth, etc. are in conflict with what the Bible actually teaches. We believe that the underlying cause of the decline morally and doctrinally in the church that we're seeing is a direct result of most of today's Christians never developing a close relationship with Christ and a knowledge of the Bible. God Himself says, "My people perish for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6, NIV).
